New Appointment Strengthens National Timber Systems

National Timber Systems (NTS) has announced the appointment of Luke Sellers as Operations Manager for its Sheffield branch.

National Timber Systems (NTS) has bolstered its Sheffield manufacturing facility, with the appointment of Luke Sellers as Operations Manager.

This latest appointment follows Premier Forest Product’s acquisition of NTS at the start of the year, and the relaunch of the Sheffield site in March.

Luke brings extensive experience in timber operations, having previously served as Operations Manager at Arnold Laver Sheffield.

In his new role, Luke will ensure the smooth, safe running of day-to-day branch activities.

He aims to implement new strategies to drive efficiencies and further develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers. This follows the improvements to site layout, loading processes and customer communication made during the relaunch.

He will focus on fostering a high-performing team culture by encouraging continuous development through effective coaching and leadership.

Luke is ambitious to progress and continue contributing his expertise to the wider business.

On his appointment, Luke said: “I’m extremely grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to give my all to the success of NTS Sheffield. Being part of Premier Forest gives the business long-term stability, and the financial backing to invest in our future, providing confidence for both our customers and our team.

“Premier Forest is a rapidly expanding company with ambitious growth targets, and it’s exciting to be part of that journey as we continue to strengthen and grow NTS Sheffield.”

Nick Kershaw, Managing Director of NTS, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Luke to National Timber Systems. His hands-on operational expertise and commitment to safety and service will help us enhance our customer experience, while supporting the continued growth of the business.”
